2014 in Review

It has been awhile since our last blog post -- we resolve to do better in 2015 (although you can always check the Blue Shutters Facebook page). To make up for this gap, we're offering this 2014 in review. Here's a recap of the photos below...starting from the top. Enjoy! January -- the innkeepers head out for some R&R; here we are in Jamaica (Blue Shutters also made it to Florida, SF an the Carolinas); February -- a blizzard hits Good Harbor Beach and the TV crews were here to report on it; March -- a Mardi Gras dessert night (one of many special weekends in 2014, including Food & Wine Tastings and Spirit Readings); April --just one of our beautiful springtime sunrises; May -- a Blue Shutters wedding; chambermaid Andrea (with Patty and fellow chambermaid Wendy); June -- some improvements...work begins on our garden; July -- our hoodies, sweats and t-shirts were big hits in 2014; August -- the Blue Shutters was the backdrop for many ALS Ice Bucket Challenges throughout the summer; September -- watching lightening strikes with the Here for the Beer hockey team; October -- a fall sunrise; November -- even the clouds look beautiful at Good Harbor Beach; December -- friends from NJ help trim the Blue Shutters Christmas tree.
