You're invited to join us on Saturday March 2 for another Blue Shutters first -- Movie Night! For this first Movie Night we suggest you bring a favorite bottle of wine, because we’ll be showing two wine-themed films....Sideways and Bottle Shock (we’ll have popcorn, soda and Cape Ann Brewing beers for you as well). Sit back and relax in our Main Room – otherwise known as the Blue Shutters Cinema – and enjoy the show. If you’d like to spend the night, we’d love to have you...but if you just want to come watch movies for the evening, that’s OK too (we warn you...once you're here, you'll probably want to stay). Call or email us for "showtimes" and other details.
You might think that winters at the Blue Shutters are pretty quiet -- and they are, for those of you looking for peaceful days walking the beach, dining downtown and lounging by the fireplace in our Main Room. But a few times throughout the winter and spring we plan special weekends -- and that's the case over the next two months. It all begins Saturday March 2 with Movie Night. On March 8 & 9, we have our Psychic Weekend. We've rescheduled our Soup-er Bowl and added a St Patricks theme for Saturday March 16. And later in the spring, on Saturday April 27, we've have our first-ever Afternoon Tea Party. You'll find details elsewhere here on the blog and on our Facebook page. Call or email us for more information on these and other special weekends. Of course, you can always come just to relax with the snowy backdrop of Good Harbor Beach just outside out door.

On Saturday, March 16, we’re combing two winter-time favorites in one very special weekend, with a St Patrick’s Soup-er Bowl (the Blizzard of ‘13 forced us to move our soup contest from our original date in February, and we think his night will be even more fun). We're still offering a 25% discount for those guests who bring some soup -- and our judges will choose a winner, with the Soup-er Bowl champ gets a gift certificate for a free return visit. You can even come and stay a night or two and just taste the soup. But the big difference now...you can come and enjoy some of the St Patrick’s fun we’ll have that weekend!
